The Pfeiffer DuoLine Series of pumps are dual stage rotary vane pumps and are used primarily for rough and medium vacuum applications. The pumps are fitted with a hydraulically controlled vacuum safety valve which, when the pump is at a stillstand, closes the vacuum chamber vacuum tight and at the same time vents the pump. The integrated magnetic coupling functions free of contact and friction. Therefore it is not subjected to any mechanical wear and is completely maintenance free compared to a conventional shaft feedthrough.
Pfeiffer Duo Rotary Vane Pumps cover all applications in the low and medium vacuum range of up to 10-3 mbar. These pumps offer reliable operation even for such critical industrial applications as drying processes, metallurgical processes or resin potting and casting systems – either as a standalone pump or as a backing pump in roots pumping stations or turbo pumping stations.
The use of a magnetic coupling minimizes maintenance requirements and leads to considerable cost savings per pump and maintenance interval.
Reliable, clean, low maintenance. Compact design - Excellent performance data. Integrated safety and gas ballast valve. Contains no non-ferrous metals. Various motor voltages afford worldwide employment. M = Magnetically coupled
